Report of survey on problems of children with working parents




















On 6 November 2017, a survey was conducted among 120 with working parents. The purpose of the survey was children of working parents seem to be a worldwide problem for the people of the 21st  century and also the future years. The main theme of the survey was stress strain problem faced by children of working parents.
The survey was conducted by means of questionnaire given to children to complete. There are 25 questions to be posed to children of the age group 5 to 15 years. The questionnaire is in the form of age group 5 to 15 years. The questionnaire is in the form multiple choice questions. It was a cross sectional study of method fully focused on children. We made the whole questions related to the data’s includes name of the children, current age, and gender. Personal details include, which type of family are they belongs to? Occupation details of parents etc. The next section of questionnaire deals with how much children are satisfied with the dealing of parents towards them.
From the survey we find a lot of information regarding the problems of children with working parents. Now a day’s in most of the families both the parents are working and most of the belongs to private sector. And they are busy with their job schedule. From the data, the most significant items are as follows. In the first section was parental care and occupational sector. 45% of children get parental care with respect to parental occupational sector. If the parents both are Government employees then children get care up to 45% .If the parents one government employee and one private employee then children get care up to 35%. While if the parents both are private employees then children gets Parental care up to 20%.
From 2nd section, the most significant items are as follows. In the second section data collected about influence of family structure on child care. There are two section of family structure, one is nuclear family and other is joint family. In nuclear family it was found that children aged 5 to 8 years, 9 to 12 years and 13 to 15  years receives around 20%, 30%, 48% care respectively ,from elders when nuclear family, as compared to joint family which was 55 % ,25% and 20% respectively.
The survey conducted also prove that division of labour in household with 2 full time working parents were family high, when the work was shared equally between both the parents if any conclusions may be drawn from the data, they are, perhaps, as follows.
 In this survey conducted by our core paper EDU. 107.1, we were able to find a lot of benefits and drawbacks from the survey which affected children. Both parents working are an in irritable trends, it has its own advantages as well as disadvantages and the Parents must find a means to keep balance between its pros and cons.
To conclude the most important factor in children's development and well being are the parents sense of fulfilment and quality time spend together. If the parents especially working mothers answers that the children are loved and cared for, then there need not be guilt for anything. This is the quality of parenting that counts
Finally, Hindi survey we also find out some suggestions to cope the behaviour problems of children by finding more time to spend with children. After the completion of the survey we were submitted the write up to the teacher.
